One year ago, in Gimbie, Ethiopia, you were brought into this world. 

The details of that birth are beyond our understanding or comprehension.

One thing we know for sure, though, is that God was watching you.

And a heavenly host was protecting you.

A tiny babe who was not expected to live.

Over whom people were simply praying "life". 

The police officer to whom you were taken took a look at you and named you

Bonsa.

"One who makes you proud. One who brings you praise."

And sweetest boy,

if that wasn't a prophecy over your life, I don't know what was.

You continued to grow stronger.

And by some miracle, God placed you in our lives.

Our lives are blessed beyond belief through you.

The first second we looked in your eyes, God began working something beautiful in us.

You are our pride and joy. 

Your life brings praise to God.

We are so thankful for you.
