Our new year had a sad start, as Zooey was hit by a car and killed on New Year's Day.
She was definitely not a perfect dog & certainly drove me nuts at times,
but she was loyal & wonderful with the kids & we loved her & miss her.

I just now saw this when I logged into Blogger today. I am so, so, so unbelievably sorry that sweet Zooey was killed. What a horribly sad thing to endure, even if she did drive you nuts on a regular basis. My heart just aches for you guys and I'm sorry you had to lose her that way.
